Sample Lumen Verum Student Schedule

The student schedule was designed to attain several key goals:

  • An exceptional focus on faith formation, including regular theology classes and prayer throughout the day.
  • A school day that matches the typical parent workday, with a later start time that ensures students can get the rest they need.
  • An effort to ensure that students have a balance between asynchronous and synchronous work, both on and off the screen.
  • Plenty of opportunity for social and intellectual interaction with peers with in-person days on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  • Plenty of opportunity to receive feedback and guidance from teachers.
  • Time built into the school day for homework and check-ins with teachers and advisors.
  • Flexibility after 3:30pm to allow students to engage in activities outside of school (town sports, enrichment classes, etc.)
