Lumen Verum Academy is located in the Archdiocese of Boston, the spiritual home for almost two million Catholics. Unlike most high schools, Lumen Verum will have multiple campuses across the Archdiocese.
Academic classes will be virtual on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, allowing students to benefit from instruction delivered by incredible talent across the English-speaking world (and saving time for both students and parents by eliminating any commute).
The Academy will emphasize in-person student activities on Wednesday and Saturday, including field trips, hikes, team-building exercises, social events, school clubs, academic seminars, Mass, and Adoration. Parents can choose to have their children participate in one or both activity days, which will be scheduled in each of the five regions outlined in the map below to minimize travel times for students and parents. The school will help arrange car pools as well.
The Archdiocese is making available churches, community space, school buildings, classrooms, gyms, auditoriums, and science labs as sites for activities in these regions. We are finalizing the list of these facilities in the coming months and will share it with parents.
